Merland's Tap & Table: A Must-Visit Spot for Burgers, Sandwiches, and Seafood

We've been coming to Merland's maybe once or twice a year for the past 3 years. They have good food, GREAT atmosphere, awesome drink selection, wonderful service and they are open LATE. Everything in Lincoln is closed by like 9pm, so we'll head over to North Woodstock for a little night life when in town. Merlands is where the locals come for a drink after they get off their shift elsewhere. After 10pm, its starts getting crowded. And we have a lot of fun. We always sit at the bar, and mostly come for drinks but we've had the food too. Tracy, the main bartender, is AWESOME. Though we come once a year, she remembers us! That alone makes me want to visit anytime we're in town. The husband and wife owners and other staff are all very pleasant too. Their bar service looks pretty responsible: you can't get a shot because you don't need one and they'll only let you order a drink for someone else if they've seen that other person. Both wonderful practices! Last time around they had an Athletic NA beer on tap, something I've never seen before, but was wonderful. It tasted better than an alcoholic IPA. They had karaoke too with a robust selection of playlists and songs to choose from. People were having a great time and its just a really nice vibe. Overall, highly recommend!

This was my first time here. I wish I had posted this sooner so I could write down what we ordered. I unfortunately do not recall. However, the food was absolutely delicious. The food was perfect. My meal was amazing. The burger was delicious and I wore most of it which was great. My onion rings were awesome. I did steal some fries from my friends. They had some beer and I had a really good ginger ale. The staff was super friendly and funny. The overall atmosphere was great. There was a trivia game going on the TV so we got to play that while we were eating.

If youre looking for a.down to earth fun place to get some food and drinks this is the spot! Courtney & Tracy were the best bartenders EVER!! The drinks were PHENOMENAL....I would definitely recommend the Malibu Rum Bucket! The owner Mike was so kind and I made sure to let him know his establishment was one of kind. I look forward to going back!!!

Place was slammed! They just sat a party of 10 and just turned over a party of 20. The manager or owner was on top of getting names down, and figuring out wait times. Somehow we were sat within 5 min. He let everyone know they could get drinks while waiting which was great. The women behind the bar were also taking care of tables. Somehow they kept the place moving without skipping a beat, all while staying super friendly and attentive. Glad to see how much business they get. There is a pool table and shuffleboard, so it’s a fun place with lots of drink choices. Took home 2 bottles of their root beer.

So glad we came here for dinner! The minute we walked in we felt welcome, and all throughout our meal. the waitstaff were all very attentive, and friendly. the atmosphere was fun and had a nice vibe to it. we enjoyed the pool table and the jukebox to play some songs while we enjoyed our meal. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, but we settled for poutine, fish and chips and boneless golden BBQ wings. The meals were served quick and hot. Probably some the best made meals we’ve had !!

Our first time here and we would go back. It’s a casual dining/drinking sports bar. Booths/tables, bar seating and high top tables. Food was very good, ample size servings and good selection of drinks.

Excellent bar and grill. Very warm and cozy. The service staff are all so friendly and fun. Great beer selection. The beer was very crisp and fresh. The food was delicious. The burger I got was monstrous and so tasty. This place is surely worth a visit when in town. They also have a pool table, which is cool.

Very good burgers and appetizers. Even though the place was busy due to leaf peeping season they were able to manage the increased workload.
